Meet MerriDee Copeland. MerriDee is an entrepreneur, business owner, mother, and animal advocate. She is the newest member that serves on the Happy Jack Cats Board and joined the organization in 2019.

She is the editor of our newsletter and is always searching for ways to help Happy Jack Cats fulfill their mission. At any given time, MerriDee has several cats in her house. Some are hers, and others are cats she fosters — from neonates to seniors, for Happy Jack Cats.

MerriDee attended Jackson Galaxy's Cat Camp with Melissa and Emily in 2019, and plans to continue attending cat camp and other education opportunities to sharpen her cat and kitten skills. She is the creator of the #bringcatcamptoboise movement and hopes to heighten education and awareness of kitten care and the importance of spay and neuter through camp.
