Meet Deborah, our Event Coordinator, who also serves as a Board member. She is a Pacific Northwest native that has traveled to and lived in many places around the world. While living in Bangkok, Thailand, she became acutely aware of the plight of the ‘soi cats’ (street cats) and began a TNR program for her area. At that time, her deep devotion to animal advocacy was born!
Deborah now spends her days as a Realtor® with Group One Sotheby’s International Realty in Eagle. Her real estate business supports her charitable zeal and provides the opportunity to give back to Happy Jack Cats. Her motto is ‘Real Estate is my Business; Animals are my Passion’, no words could be more true for Deborah. She loves real estate, but adores animals.
Her husband, Charles, is also a dedicated animal advocate and cat lover! They are doting servants to their four cats, Snow, Mo, Lily Joy, and Leila. Two of their kitties are HJC alumni, and one is from Deborah’s TNR days in Bangkok. Deborah and Charles‘ home will never be without loving purrs and friendly paws.
Happy Jack Cats is proud to have such an accomplished woman as Deborah on our team. Not only is she a successful agent with Sotheby’s International Realty, but she is cheerful, creative, hard-working, a committed animal advocate, and a genuinely good person. In addition to serving as our Event Coordinator, she sits on the Board of Directors of Happy Jack Cats and is a media sponsor, but there is more.
Deborah has agreed to donate $500 to Happy Jack Cats in the buyers’ name when they close a home under $750,000 with her. True to her word, in the attached photo, you can see Deborah holding a $500 check made out to Happy Jack Cats, the result of such a closing. Thank you so much Deborah!
She says, “I am deeply grateful for my wonderful clients who moved into their new home this month!! Their trust in me has made it possible for a $500 donation to be given to Happy Jack Cats. If you purchase or sell a home with me we can achieve another donation for Happy Jack Cats together”
